This variety is suitable for: Excellent fried in oil (of which it absorbs very little); good boiled, but will
disintegrate if over-cooked.
Possibly the best frying variety in a good year.If
growth stops in August, however, (blight or other problems) the quality is not
so good - the very firm "Golden Wonder" texture disappears.
